    Ashley Johnson is a native of Fort Walton Beach, FL where she graduated from Choctawhatchee High School in 2004. She has a strong background in movement/dance that initially led her to perform with the Choctawhatchee Color Guard from 2000 to 2004. After graduation, Ashley continued to perform with multiple Independent programs over the next few years. She spent one year competing in the GCGPC with W3(IA Class) in 2005 and one year in the FFCC with Paradigm (IW Class) in 2007. In fall of 2005, she began her teaching career coaching at Choctawhatchee High school where she served as one of the technicians and choreographers for the field, Scholastic Regional A, and Scholastic World Guard programs until 2009. Throughout her years at Choctaw, Ashley has contributed to multiple successes for the program. Best in class awards, superior ratings, 5A FMBC State Champions, WGI Power Regional Finalist, WGI Regional Scholastic World Champions, consecutive WGI World Championships Scholastic World Finalist. In 2007, Ashley started College at the Florida State University where she continued her love for Colorguard while studying at the University. She performed five seasons with the World Renowned Marching Chiefs Colorguard while finishing her BS degree in Recreation and Leisure Management in 2010.  Throughout the past decade Ashley has served as a choreographer, technician, consultant, and show designer for numerous Colorguard and Winterguard programs, clinics, and camps for several programs in the state of Florida such as Fort Walton Beach High School, Crestview High School, Melbourne High School, Tavares High School, Lincoln High School, Liza Jackson Preparatory, and Okaloosa Winter Guard. After living in Orlando for the past 10 years and working as an Account Marketing Manager at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, she decided to switch up her career. Ashley is a full time Paralegal at the Law offices of Brannon and Brannon. In 2020 Ashley accepted the Director position for the Choctawhatchee Color Guard. This past winter guard season she merged with FWBHS Colorguard and became a co-director with Jamie Fields for the Okaloosa Winter Guard Varsity and JV programs. Ashley continues to promote and work with local teams such as Liza Jackson Preparatory School and has created the first of many Colorguard spin clubs for feeder programs such as Meigs and Pryor Middle School. When Ashley is not doing Colorguard or working in the office, you can usually find her teaching Club Cardio dance fitness classes at dance studios and with dance teams around the gulf coast area.   404
