Treasurer
Mark Foster has served the GCGPC since 1998 as a unit director and instructor at
Daphne HS and Robertsdale HS, was the GCGPC executive director, was a member of
the hall of fame committee, and is a member of the GCGPC Hall of Fame. His units
consistently earned championships in the circuit, at WGI regionals and were 4 time
finalists at the WGI World Championships with a bronze medal in 2005.
A graduate from the University of Memphis and Louisiana Tech University, Mark is a
retired band director with over 30 years of teaching experience in Mississippi,
Tennessee and Alabama. He began instructing percussion in 1982.
He is a charter member of the Memphis Blues Brass Band Drum and Bugle Corps in
1980 and 1981 and served as a tenor tech in 1982. He was a volunteer with the
Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps and was the tour director for Southwind Drum and
Bugle Corps.
