Wanda Harrell

Contest Director

Wanda Harrell is a native of Pensacola, FL where she graduated from J.M. Tate High School. She has been in the pageantry world for 30 years. While in High School, Wanda was a member of the Tate ShowBand of the South colorguard and the Chaparrals from 1986-1990. Following graduation, she immediately began her Colorguard Director journey. She has taught numerous groups in the circuit including, Milton HS, Pine Forest HS, Pensacola HS, Foley HS, Murphy HS and Tate HS. Along this journey, Wanda’s units received multitudes of superior ratings, best in class awards, GCGPC champions and WGI Regional and Championship finalists. Wanda has served on the board through-out the past 30 years as Secretary/Treasurer and as an unit representative. She was inducted into the GCGPC Hall of Fame in 2009. Wanda has also been a member of the WGI volunteer staff for World Championships. Wanda is currently a kitchen and bath designer in Foley, AL. She resides in Foley, AL with her husband Shane Harrell, a GCGPC timing and penalty judge, and their son River.
